I was thrilled when the folks at Jessica London offered to send me a little something from their Amazing Lace collection. I’m loving this dress in particular because it shows one of my favorite trends this season: dressy knits. I’ve seen everything from skirts to blazers to pants in knit fabrics, all appropriate for the office or a night out. The secret? Ponte’ knit–it’s a bit heavier than your run-of-the-mill t-shirt material, but not any less comfortable. Also, it holds it shape much better than other stretchy fabrics, so garments look structured even after you wear them all day.
The combination of of the ponte’ knit and the lace sleeves is lovely, and I can’t wait to wear this dress to some holiday parties!
Can we talk about the shoes, or as they’re called, the “shooties?” As I’ve mentioned before, I don’t wear heels very often because of my overt clumsiness, but these shoes are cute, comfortable, and practically stumble-proof! They also come in larger sizes and widths. It’s amazing how easy it is to walk when your shoes fit!
