It’s hard to believe that the award season is already ramping up, but the best part is that we all love the best and worst, do’s and dont’s, or whatever you want to call them. And the Country Music Awards did not disappoint as fashion’s first glimpse of red carpet. There were lots of pale shades of beige and blush, including such fashionistas as Carrie, Miranda and Nicole. A surprising amount of black for country, since those awards usually favor color. There were so many stars of the TV show Nashville that it felt a bit more Hollywood than Nashville, so the fashion was particularly eclectic and electric. Lily Aldridge was the most edgy in black velvet with sheer panels, Jennifer Nettles wore a very fitted black bodice with southern belle skirt, and Hillary Scott wore black with a little dominatrix feel, but it was a total wow on her incredible curves. Fan favorite Connie Britton of the TV show Nashville was one of the few to wear short, and it was stunning in green and black lace. Kimberly Williams-Paisley, another crossover from Hollywood to Nashville, went pure Hollywood in a very fitted royal blue and Meghan Trainor looked young and fresh and all Monique Lhullier in a short cobalt blue lace frock.
Sheer Ecstasy

So incredibly pretty, Jessica London Blouson Evening Dress in royal cobalt blue has a beautifully beaded round neckline and trumpet skirt with godet insets for sweep.
Start Blushing
Roaman’s Sequin Beaded Top in sparkling champagne has a delicately scalloped neckline and beautiful beading for an ultra chic look. Kiyonna Screen Siren Lace Gown is appropriately named, with a fabulous nude lining under black lace, and an elegant fit and flare that will flatter and accentuate your curves. A ruched waistband creates a great hourglass look.
